Mikvah: A community mikvah is located at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn. The phone number is 796-0350. There are also mikvot nearby in Teaneck (837-8220) and Passaic (778-3596).

UJA/Federation: The Fair Lawn Jewish Community is part of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, which encompasses parts of Bergen and Passaic Counties. Federation’s offices are located at One Pike Drive, Wayne, at the same location as a state-of-the-art YM-YWHA. The YM-YWHA also organizes athletic leagues for the younger members of the Fair Lawn Jewish community, with games played on Sunday in Fair Lawn. Less than 15 minutes from Fair Lawn is another JCC with a full array of programming for children and adults of all ages. Located in Washington Township, the Bergen YJCC boasts a state of the art Health Club, gymnasium, 75' lap pool and kiddie pool, and a full range of sports, personal training and fitness programs. The Early Childhood Center offers infant and toddler programs and a Nursery School for two through four year olds. Many children's after school classes and programs are also available.
