Ahavat Achim is bringing that SUPER FUN “camp feeling” to shul on Friday, August 30 & Saturday, August 31st!
From a Shabbat-A-Grams, musical Kabbalat Shabbat (which will be outside, weather dependent!), free community Shabbat dinner with friends, ruach, and the traditional “Kool-Aid”, breakout learning after Kiddush luncheon, board games before mincha to a singing seudah shlishit, we are bringing that “camp feeling” to Fair Lawn!

- Who is this event for?
- Everyone in the community, ages 0-120 years old!
- Do I have to come for the entire Shabbaton?
- No, feel free to pick and choose what you want to come for!
Schedule:
- Shabbat-a-grams – print and give to your family & friends before Shabbat or at shul (see attached)
- Mincha – 7:15pm
- Musical Kabbalat – 7:30pm
- FREE Shabbat Dinner (please RSVP here by 8/25!) – 8:00pm
- Ruach filled Shacharit – 9:00am
- Kriyat HaTorah with interactive trivia ~ 9:45am
- Mifkad style announcements with rosh tzevet & rosh kehilah ~ 11:10am
- Camp-style Full Kiddush Luncheon – 11:15am
- Breakout learning sessions after kiddush
- Shabbat walks to visit community members – 4:00pm (departing from shul)
- Pre-Mincha Board Games & Snacks – 5:30pm – 6:45pm
- Pre-Mincha Shiur (with guest speaker) – 6:00pm – 6:45pm
- Mincha – 6:45pm
- Singing Seudah Shlishit ~ 7:00pm
- Maariv & Havdalah – 8:15pm
- Melava Malka & Firepit – 8:45pm (at Jacob house)
